Take your first step into scuba diving with Hilo Ocean Adventures’ Shore Discover SCUBA Diving experience in Hilo. This 4-hour program includes a presentation, fitting of gear, a 45-minute to 1-hour pool training session, and a guided ocean dive.
Hilo offers clear waters, colorful reef fish, and the best chance on the island to see sea turtles (not guaranteed). Upon completion, participants receive a Discover SCUBA Diving Certificate allowing dives under professional supervision for 14 days. Participants must be at least 10 years old and able to swim unassisted in water too deep to stand.
