Level 1 Freediver Course in Kailua-Kona
Master the fundamentals of freediving using the FII education system through classroom instruction, confined water training, and open water dives. The course emphasizes safety and comfort, enabling students to dive up to 66 feet (20 meters).
- Day 1: Classroom session (7:45 AM – 12:00 PM) and confined water training (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
- Day 2: Open water dive (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM), final exam, and lunch (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
- Personal gear not included; mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt, and wetsuit recommended
- Minimum 2 students required; must be in good health without heart conditions
Check-in at Kona Honu Divers by 7:45 AM; waivers must be completed in advance.
