PADI Open Water Certification (Part 1) – Shore in Kihei
Discover some of the best shore diving in Hawaii with Prodiver Maui’s PADI Open Water Certification part 1. This course is the first phase of the two-part certification process, starting on the shore where you’ll learn scuba diving skills, terminology, and safety procedures from a PADI certified Dive Instructor.
The 3 to 4-hour session includes your first two dives, exploring sandy bottoms, reef, and coral formations while observing diverse sea life. This shore portion prepares you for the second part of the certification, which is a boat dive to complete your Open Water Diver certification.
Special Requirements: Participants must be at least 10 years old and complete a medical questionnaire prior to enrollment. Any affirmative medical answers require a physician’s release.
