The Enriched Air NITROX Certification course offered by Seasport Divers in Poipu provides divers with the knowledge and skills to safely use Nitrox for extended bottom times and enhanced dive safety. This course can be taken independently or as part of a broader diving experience.
Course Details
The course duration ranges from 1.5 to 2 hours and includes virtual learning combined with hands-on instruction by a certified PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Instructor. Upon completion, divers receive a lifelong PADI Enriched Air NITROX certification and a digital certification card.
Benefits of Nitrox Certification
Nitrox contains a higher oxygen concentration (28-36%) and less nitrogen than standard air, allowing divers to extend no-decompression limits and reduce nitrogen absorption. This leads to longer bottom times, shorter surface intervals, and potentially less fatigue after dives. Free Nitrox tanks are included with certification.
Additional Information
The course is suitable for divers aged 15 to 85 and accommodates groups up to 10 participants. Standard cancellation policies apply. The certification enhances dive safety and opens access to specialized dive opportunities previously unavailable to many recreational divers.
