The 2 Hour Outrigger Canoe Experience provides a unique opportunity to paddle a traditional double-hull canoe with a local paddling professional. This experience includes scenic views of the North Shore coastline and an introduction to the history and cultural significance of outrigger canoeing in Hawaii.
Experience Highlights
Participants will catch safe and fun waves while learning about the role of the canoe in Hawaiian culture. The lesson lasts two hours and is designed for all skill levels.
Locations and Scheduling
The exact location is determined on the day of the lesson based on surf conditions. Possible launch sites include Chuns Point, Puaena Point, Sunset, Laniakea, or Kaunala Beach. Participants receive a text with location and parking details the day before.
