PADI Nitrox Class in Kailua-Kona
The PADI Nitrox Class in Kailua-Kona offers scuba divers the opportunity to learn about enriched air diving. This specialty course helps divers extend their bottom time and reduce nitrogen absorption on multiple dives.
Course Details
This course does not require scuba dives and includes classroom instruction priced at $50. Private classes are available for an additional $175 upon request. The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox eLearning course is offered separately for $212 (subject to annual changes).
Certification Benefits
After certification, divers can use nitrox on boat trips such as the Two-Tank Day Trip or Advanced Dive Trips offered by Jack’s Diving Locker.
What We Provide and What You Need
- Instruction, analyzer, tank, and nitrox logs provided
- Students must complete the PADI eLearning course
Schedule and Additional Info
Classes are available seven days a week by reservation, typically from 3:00 to 4:00 pm. Divers should meet 30 minutes prior to their scheduled dive to complete a Nitrox waiver.
Try Nitrox Intro
Unsure about nitrox? Try it on a dive for $10 per tank. Open Water Divers can dive to 60 feet, Advanced Divers to 100 feet, with night dives requiring Advanced certification.
