This popular two-day course introduces beginners to freediving with an emphasis on safety, quality, and enjoyment. The course totals 14.5 hours, with the second day immediately following the first.
Day one accommodates up to 6 participants, and day two up to 4. Training includes static and dynamic apnea sessions in confined water to teach relaxation, breathing, finning, and safety techniques. Open water sessions apply these skills with basic freediving techniques such as equalizing, duck diving, and buoyancy control.
Theory topics cover freediving introduction, breathing cycles, physiology, equalization, techniques, safety, equipment, and disciplines. Students study theory at their own pace with practical lessons provided.
