This small-group experience begins at Kawaihae Harbor (S Basin), where guests check in 20 minutes prior to departure and receive snorkel gear along with a safety briefing and an overview of manta ray behavior.

Guided Snorkeling and Educational Insights

After a brief 5-minute boat ride to the snorkel site, guests enter the water for an approximately 45-minute guided snorkel. The knowledgeable crew provides continuous guidance and education about manta ray biology, behavior, and conservation throughout the safe encounter. The group size is limited to a maximum of six guests to ensure an intimate experience.

Additional Highlights and Comfort

During the snorkel, complimentary photos and videos are captured to help guests relive the magical encounter. Afterward, participants warm up onboard with hot tea or hot chocolate while enjoying the night sky. The tour concludes with a relaxing ride back to the harbor.
