Carthaginian Shipwreck and Mala Pier Dive from Kihei

The Carthaginian Shipwreck is a popular dive site located half a mile off the coast of Lahaina, resting at a maximum depth of 97 feet on a sandy seabed. This site is usually only seen by the Atlantis submarine and offers a fantastic wreck exploration experience.

Divers can observe frogfish on the wreck, as well as trumpet fish, sergeant major, orange spine unicorn-fish, rainbow cleaner wrasse, turtles, sharks, and eagle rays. Occasionally, divers may dive alongside the Atlantis submarine when timing allows.

The dive trip departs from the Kihei Boat Ramp, with check-in at 6:10 AM and return between 12:00 and 1:00 PM, lasting approximately 6 hours. A minimum of 15 logged dives and certification are required to participate. Nitrox use is recommended for this square profile dive.
