1 Tank Shore Dive at Wai’olena Beach, Hilo
Join an expert local dive team for a guided one-tank shore dive along the lush East Hawai’i coast at Wai’olena Beach. This dive features colorful coral gardens, Hawaiian green sea turtles grazing and resting on lava shelves, and a natural turtle cleaning station where reef fish interact with turtles. Other marine life includes octopus, eels, rays, and tropical reef fish weaving through lava formations.
This relaxed yet exciting dive is suitable for certified divers of all levels and includes one air tank, weights, a professional divemaster guide, bottled water, and light snacks. Gear rentals such as mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, and regulator are available. The total duration is about 2.5 to 3 hours, including briefing and dive time.
