Climb aboard the Orca boat for a whale watching tour along the Kona coast. The boat’s speed allows coverage of large distances to find humpback whales migrating from Alaska to Hawaii during winter. These whales come to Kona to mate, give birth, and nurse their young in calm waters.
Tour details:
- Operates rain or shine unless safety is affected
- Minimum of six guests required for the charter to run
- Recommended to bring sun-protective clothing, camera with zoom lens, and optionally binoculars (available for rent)
- Restrictions apply for expectant mothers and guests with certain health conditions
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
