The Advanced Open Water Diver course in Kailua-Kona is designed to enhance diving skills through six dives over three days. This certification includes specialty dives such as Deep Diver, Underwater Navigation, and the renowned Manta Night Dive.
Course Schedule and Training
Day 1 features two local morning dives focusing on buoyancy and Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM. Day 2 covers Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives. Day 3 includes a Naturalist or Fish ID Adventure Dive followed by the Manta Night Dive to complete certification.
Included Equipment and Logistics
All required SCUBA gear is provided, and transportation is included. The course uses a PADI eLearning code for theory components and is led by Master Scuba Diving Instructors. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
