The Advanced Open Water certification course in Honolulu is designed to enhance your diving abilities through a series of specialty dives. This course is open to all certified Open Water Divers, including Junior Open Water Divers aged 12 and above.

Course Structure and Specialty Dives

You will complete five training dives conducted from the boat. Two dives are required: deep diving and underwater navigation. The remaining three dives are specialty dives selected based on the local environment, such as Dive Against Debris, Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat Diving, and Wreck Diving.

Course Benefits and Details

Each specialty dive can earn credit toward PADI specialty certifications. The course includes PADI eLearning valued at $231, and equipment such as exposure suits, BCDs, regulators, computers, tanks, and weights are provided. The maximum student-to-instructor ratio is 6:1.
