Bareboat Cruising Lessons (ASA 104)
This intermediate cruising course at Kewalo Basin in Honolulu requires prior certification in ASA 101 and ASA 103. The 3-day, 2-night course prepares students to skipper or crew a 30- to 45-foot auxiliary-powered keelboat in coastal waters.
Participants receive instruction and hands-on learning covering piloting, dead reckoning, docking, system troubleshooting, maintenance, navigation, cruise planning, weather forecasts, and overnight anchoring. The course includes logbook, registration, certification fees, and a 1-year ASA membership.
