Cabo San Lucas PADI Instructor Development Course

The Cabo San Lucas PADI Instructor Development Course is a 15-day intensive program designed to train certified Divemasters to become professional scuba instructors. This course includes both the Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.

Course Benefits and Skills

Participants learn to organize and present dive information, conduct skill development sessions, and manage open water dives. Graduates earn a globally recognized PADI Instructor rating, enabling them to teach all core PADI courses.

Prerequisites

• Certified PADI Divemaster for six months or longer (or equivalent)
• At least 60 logged dives
• Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care certification within 24 months
• Medical clearance from a physician within 12 months
• Emergency First Response Instructor Certification to qualify for the Instructor Exam

This course is offered by Dive Oahu with a group size limit of 8 participants. Cancellation requires a one-week notice; no refunds for opened eLearning codes. The meeting point is Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and participants must be 18 years or older.
