Discover Dive PADI Program in Haleiwa

The PADI Discover Diver program offered by North Shore Dive Shop in Haleiwa, Hawaii, is designed for those new to scuba diving who want to try it before committing to certification. Participants learn basic safety guidelines and scuba equipment use under direct supervision of a PADI professional.

The experience begins with an overview of scuba gear, followed by an open water ocean dive guided by an instructor who points out marine life and ensures safety and comfort throughout. This program provides a unique introduction to the underwater world and can count toward PADI Open Water Diver certification if training continues.

Important: The cost does not include boat seats. Boat seats in Honolulu are $50 per person (max 5 divers), and North Shore boat seats are $75 per person (max 4 divers per charter).
