Seasport Divers offers the PADI Enriched Air NITROX certification course in Poipu, Hawaii. This certification can be completed independently or as part of your diving experience.
Nitrox contains a higher concentration of oxygen (28-36%) and less nitrogen than standard air, allowing divers to extend no-decompression limits and reduce the risk of decompression sickness. This is particularly beneficial for repetitive dives or dives between 50-100 feet (15-30 meters).
Additional benefits include shorter surface intervals, enabling divers to return to the water faster during multiple dive days. Participants must complete the PADI standard medical form before beginning the certification.
