Family Surf Lesson Overview

Let us introduce you to the magic of surfing at Ukumehame Beach, Maui. Our talented instructors select the ideal beach spot to match your skill level and provide new condition NSP P2 soft surfboards tailored to your specifications. Surfing booties (water shoes) are also included.

Whether you want to build confidence, improve technique, or start your surfing journey safely, our world-class coaches will assess your abilities and customize the lesson accordingly.

When to Go

Wave conditions are typically best in the mornings before the wind picks up. Standard start times are 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Afternoon lessons are available when conditions permit and can be requested via contact form or phone.

Meeting Point

Ukumehame Beach, Maui. Lessons accommodate 3 or 4 people.

What to Bring

• Swimsuit or boardshorts
• Towels
• Dry clothes for after surfing
• Water and snacks
• Sunglasses and hat
• Phone
• Reef-safe sunscreen (apply before arrival)

Additional Information

On the morning of your lesson, you will receive a Google pin directing you to the parking spot and a photo of the instructor’s car for easy identification.
