Fii Freediving Course with Kohala Divers
This Level 1 Freediver course spans 2 days with approximately 5.5 hours of training each day. It covers safety, problem management, equipment use, physiology, breathing techniques, and freediving skills to safely dive up to 66 feet (20 meters).
Training takes place in classroom, pool, and open water settings. Students must attend all sessions and demonstrate mastery of F.I.I. Level 1 Freediver skills. Participants should have competent swimming skills and be comfortable in open water. Minimum age is 16 years (12 for Junior Course).
Equipment such as wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, and weights can be rented or purchased at check-in. Course materials are provided.
