Group Surf Lessons

Group Surf Lessons at Kalama Park, Kihei

Start your surf lesson with a warm aloha from experienced instructors, including an ocean safety briefing and land lesson. Then, ride waves for over an hour at Kalama Park. All surf equipment including board, reef shoes, and rash guard are provided.

Lessons are offered at 7:30am and 9:30am; 12pm lessons are usually too windy but available by request. Groups consist of 2 or more surfers with a maximum of 6 surfers per instructor. Photos are available for purchase.

Check-in is 5 minutes before the lesson at the Waves Hawaii Surf School Van across from Aloha gas station. Suitable for ages 10 and up. Small children are advised to book private or semi-private lessons.
