Group Surf Lessons in Lahaina with Goofy Foot Surf School
Join beginner-friendly group surf lessons designed for ages 9 and up in Lahaina. Each 2-hour session is led by certified instructors who emphasize safety, ocean awareness, and fundamental surfing skills.
Students are equipped with modern soft longboards, surfing booties, and protective lycra t-shirts. The lesson begins on sand and flat water for about 30 minutes before moving into the warm ocean for supervised surfing practice. Goofy Foot instructors are First Aid, CPR, and CORA certified, ensuring a safe learning environment.
The curriculum covers paddling, surf zone navigation, wave timing, four fundamental surf stances, board maneuvering, stopping, and wiping out. Upon completion, students receive a Beginner Surfer Diploma and a Goofy Foot Surf School sticker.
