Group Surf Lessons in Lahaina

Goofy Foot Surf School offers beginner group surf lessons for ages 9 and up, Monday through Saturday, with sessions at 7am, 8:30am, 10am, 11:30am, and 1:00pm. Each lesson lasts 2 hours and costs $125 per person.

Lessons begin with outfitting students with modern soft longboards, surfing booties, and protective lycra t-shirts. Instruction starts on sand and flat water before moving into the ocean. Certified instructors provide thorough coaching focused on safety, fundamentals, ocean awareness, paddling, wave catching, and board maneuvering.

All instructors are First Aid, CPR, and CORA certified. Upon completion, students receive a Beginner Surfer Diploma and a Goofy Foot Surf School sticker. Private lessons are available for children under 9.
