Join Yoga Floats for a beginner-friendly standup paddling (SUP) class designed to teach you the fundamentals in a supportive setting. The session begins with essential safety guidelines to ensure a secure experience on the water, with life jackets available for those who are not confident swimmers.
During the lesson, you will learn proper board positioning, an efficient forward stroke, and basic techniques for stopping and turning. Morning conditions are typically calm with lighter winds, ideal for building confidence and spotting sea turtles. This class pairs well with the 9am SUP yoga session for a full morning on the water.
Please check in 10-15 minutes before class begins. Late arrivals over 5 minutes may not be admitted.
