Kona Boys offers kayak and paddle board rentals in Kealakekua Bay, governed by a permitting system through Hawaii State Parks. Rentals include single kayaks ($64 daily, $149 weekly), double kayaks ($89 daily, $250 weekly), and paddleboards ($89 daily, $250 weekly).
Snorkel gear is also available for daily and weekly rental, with prices starting at $10 for single pieces. Rental customers must launch and land at designated areas and cannot land at Ka’awaloa near Captain Cook’s Monument. Snorkeling is done from the vessels, and renters are responsible for transporting and handling their equipment.
