Kealakekua Bay Snorkeling Tour on the Big Island

Explore the Kona Coast aboard 24-foot Zodiac boats on a 4-hour tour available Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Check-in is at 7:45 am for the 8:00 am tour or 12:30 pm for the 12:45 pm tour.

Your Naturalist Captain shares Hawaiian folklore and history while you enjoy frequent sightings of dolphins, manta rays, turtles, and other marine life. The Zodiac boats provide an exciting and intimate way to explore marine environments inaccessible to larger vessels.

The tour visits Kealakekua Bay, a National Marine Park and home to the Captain Cook Monument, known for its calm waters and excellent snorkeling conditions. All snorkel gear, including silicone masks, Rx masks, fins, and float boards, plus detailed instruction, are provided.

Discover lava tubes, sea caves, grottos, and wave-powered blowholes along the coast while learning about the island’s geology and lava flows.
