Keiki Private Surf Lesson on the North Shore of Oahu

Learn how to surf or improve your techniques on the perfect waves of the legendary North Shore, on the Island of O‘ahu, at uncrowded and amazing spots. During winter months (December to February), surf tends to be bigger, but the school finds perfect waves in the two- to four-foot range suitable for all skill levels.

Surf Hawai‘i Surf School provides detailed instructions tailored to your child’s skill level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Lessons include all necessary equipment: surfboards, leashes, and rash guards. Children as young as 4 years old can start learning, with private lessons required for those 10 and under, maintaining a 1:1 student-instructor ratio.

Lessons are offered every day at 7 am, 10 am, 2 pm, and 4 pm, lasting 1.5 hours each. The school prioritizes the best conditions and least crowded spots to ensure a fun and safe experience.
