The Kona Snorkeling Beat the Crowd Tour is a 5-hour adventure designed to provide guests with a less crowded snorkeling experience at Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve. Available Monday through Friday, the tour begins with check-in at 9:45 am.
Snorkeling and Lunch Experience
Kealakekua Bay is renowned for its crystal-clear, calm waters, making it one of Hawaii’s premier snorkel spots. Guests receive a briefing upon arrival and can snorkel as long as they wish. After snorkeling, a lunch is served while the captain shares the history of the bay and the Captain Cook Monument. Additional snorkeling time follows lunch.
Coastal Tour and Wildlife
After snorkeling, the award-winning coastal tour begins, featuring sea caves, lava tubes, and blowholes. Wildlife such as spinner dolphins, manta rays, and turtles may be spotted along the way. Due to the ride’s nature, the tour is not suitable for guests with back or neck problems or pregnant women.
