Scuba Diving at Lanai Cathedrals
Join Maui Diamond Sea Sports for scuba diving trips to Lanai several times a month. Dive sites include the Cathedrals, Shark Fin, Lighthouse, and more. The captain selects dive locations based on conditions and local boat traffic.
The main attraction is the lava tube caverns known as the Cathedrals, featuring sunlight filtering through cracks and walls covered in coral and sponges. Marine life includes eels, turtles, sharks, and occasionally dolphins.
Check-in is at 6:15 AM with return to harbor between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. Juice, sodas, water, snacks, and lunch are provided onboard. Divers may bring additional food if it fits in under-bench dry storage.
Note: Divers who have not dived in over two years must take a guided dive or refresher before participating or hire a private guide. Rental gear including BCD and regulator is available.
