Lanai Cathedrals Scuba Diving Adventure
Several times a month, Maui Diamond Sea Sports offers a scuba diving trip to Lanai, exploring dive sites such as the Cathedrals, Shark Fin, Lighthouse, and more. Check-in is at 6:15 in the morning with a return to the harbor between 2:00 and 3:00 PM.
The main attraction, the Cathedrals, features massive lava tube caverns with sunlight filtering through cracks, creating a cathedral-like atmosphere. The walls are covered in coral and sponges, home to marine life including eels, turtles, sharks, and dolphins. The captain selects dive sites daily based on conditions and boat traffic.
Guests may see dolphins en route to or from Lanai. The trip includes juice, sodas, water, snacks, and lunch on board. Divers can bring additional food if it fits in under-bench dry storage. Rental gear such as BCDs and regulators is available.
Note: If it has been more than two years since your last dive, a guided dive or refresher is required before boat dives.
