The Lanai snorkel dolphin sail is an approximately 5-hour excursion departing from Lahaina Harbor’s main loading dock. This tour explores the largely uninhabited coastline of Lanai, one of the world’s top snorkel locations, and offers opportunities to see wild dolphins in their natural habitat.

Snorkeling and marine wildlife

Guests snorkel a dazzling coral reef abundant with sea life. Dolphin species commonly sighted include acrobatic spinner dolphins, friendly bottlenose dolphins, and curious spotted dolphins. Humpback whales may also be seen from December to April. Certified Marine Naturalists provide snorkel instruction, fish identification classes, and onboard education. The Jr. Naturalist Program is available for children.

Meals and refreshments

The tour includes a continental breakfast with banana bread, assorted pastries, fresh island fruit, juice, and Maui coffee. Lunch grilled onboard features chicken breasts, garden burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, veggie salad, and chocolate chip cookies. Unlimited filtered water, soda, and juices are provided, along with one adult beverage per guest.

Additional information

The group size is limited to 55 guests. Rentals such as wetsuit shirts and binoculars are available. Alcoholic beverages are limited to three drinks per adult 21 and over, served only after snorkeling. Valid picture ID is required for alcohol consumption.
