Level 1 Freediver Course in Kailua Kona

Master the fundamentals of freediving with the FII education system in this two-day course held at Kona Honu Divers. Training includes classroom instruction, confined water sessions, and open water dives, focusing on safety and comfort.

Students learn proper freediving techniques to operate safely up to depths of 66 feet (20 meters). The course schedule includes a classroom session and confined water training on day one, followed by open water dives, a final exam, and lunch on day two.

Personal gear such as mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt, and wetsuit (3mm recommended) is not included and must be brought or rented. Participants must be in good health with no heart conditions and complete medical statements and waivers prior to the course.
