Big Island Manta Night Snorkel in Waimea
Enjoy a once in a lifetime 1.5-hour night snorkel adventure with wild manta rays off the coast of Waimea. Departure times vary seasonally based on sunset, and guests must check in 30 minutes prior to departure.
Onboard, listen to soft Hawaiian music while cruising the ocean. The boat anchors in about 20 feet of water with a sandy bottom where guides provide information on manta ray behavior and fun facts. After gearing up, guests enter the water to observe manta rays somersaulting close by.
After the snorkel, hot chocolate and snacks are served onboard. On the return trip, enjoy the starlit sky and possibly bioluminescence. Children under 5 are not permitted. The tour has a 90%+ manta ray sighting success rate, with a free return trip offered if no manta rays are seen.
