Maunakea Summit & Stars Adventure
Embark on a journey from sea level to the slopes of Maunakea, revealing the wonders and world-class clarity of the Hawaiian night sky. Enjoy a warm picnic-style dinner featuring Southwest Stew or Vegetarian Chili, assorted teas, hot chocolate, and dessert.
Warm wear including hooded parkas and gloves are provided. Delight in the sunset over the Pacific and sip hot chocolate during a private star show using an 11″ Celestron telescope and a state-of-the-art digital telescope to view deep space objects. Share captured images with friends and family.

Important Details: Duration is approximately 7 to 8 hours. Meeting locations include King Kamehameha Courtyard Marriott, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, Kona Village, Queens’ Marketplace, Waikoloa Plaza, and Onizuka Visitors Center. Guests should be able to walk on uneven terrain and are advised against participation if pregnant or with certain health conditions. Late return time requires confirmed transportation. Cancellation requires at least 24 hours notice.
