Maunakea Summit & Stars Giveback Experience

Embark on an inspiring 9 to 10-hour journey on the slopes of Maunakea to help restore endangered dry forests through native seed collection with the Waikoloa Dry Forest Initiative. Before ascending to the highest peak in the Pacific for sunset and stargazing, participate in conservation efforts to create a self-sustaining native forest.

The experience includes a picnic-style dinner featuring Southwest Stew or Vegetarian Chili (vegan, gluten-free), assorted teas, hot chocolate, and dessert. Warm wear such as hooded parkas and gloves are provided for the summit visit.
