The Maunakea summit stars experience invites guests to participate in conservation efforts by collecting native seeds to help restore endangered dry forests on Maunakea’s slopes. This inspiring journey combines environmental stewardship with breathtaking natural beauty.
Sunset and Stargazing at Maunakea
After conservation work, guests ascend to Maunakea’s summit, the highest point in the Pacific, to enjoy a stunning Hawaiian sunset. The experience continues with a private star show featuring a high-powered digital telescope, allowing guests to view deep space objects and share images of the Hawaiian night sky.
