Dive Profile and Marine Life
Divers usually start deep around 80 to 100 feet and gradually move shallower to extend bottom time. The area is home to pyramid butterflyfish, blue dragon nudibranchs, and frogfish, providing diverse marine encounters.
Trip Schedule and Conditions
Check-in is at 6:15 AM with return between noon and 1:00 PM. The total duration is approximately 7 hours. If conditions prevent diving the Backwall, alternative advanced sites will be selected. Refunds are not issued for site changes due to weather.
Equipment and Requirements
Divers may bring their own gear or rent equipment from Maui Diamond Sea Sports. This charter is suitable for certified divers comfortable with advanced dive profiles.
