Molokini Double Backwall Advanced Dive
This 6-hour dive trip is designed for advanced divers with at least 40 lifetime dives and recent experience, preferably in Maui. Check-in is at 6:15 AM with return between noon and 1:00 PM.
Dive depths range from 80 to 100 feet with visibility typically exceeding 100 feet. The dive starts deep and gradually moves shallower to maximize bottom time. Marine life includes pyramid butterflyfish, blue dragon nudibranchs, and frogfish.
Participants must be comfortable with strong currents, quick descents, excellent buoyancy control, and safety stops in blue water without mooring lines. Rental gear is available for $30. A diver medical form is required, and some may need physician clearance.
