Nitrox Class in Kailua-Kona certifies divers to use enriched air for extended bottom time and reduced nitrogen load. Classes run daily by reservation with classroom and eLearning options.

PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver Course

Offered by Jack’s Diving Locker in Kailua-Kona, this specialty course certifies divers to use enriched air (Nitrox) for diving. The course does not require scuba dives and qualifies you to dive Nitrox on boat trips like the Two-Tank Day Trip or Advanced Dive Trips.

  • Classroom Instruction: $50
  • Private Class Option: Additional $175
  • PADI eLearning Course: $212 (subject to annual change)

Students must have Open Water certification and be at least 12 years old. The course includes instruction, analyzer use, tank, and Nitrox logs. Discounts include 10% off most merchandise and $5 off subsequent dive trips. Classes are available 7 days a week by reservation, typically 3:00-4:00 pm.

Note: Flying or driving to altitude after diving requires waiting 12-18 hours depending on dive profile.
