The Nitrox Enriched Air Course enables divers to extend their allowable bottom time by using enriched air mixtures. This certification allows you to dive using Nitrox, which increases your no-decompression limits and reduces surface intervals. Although air consumption rates remain the same, Nitrox changes dive planning and preparation.
Course Structure and Expectations
This course consists of self-study e-learning materials, typically requiring 2-4 hours, followed by a 1-2 hour classroom session at Maui Dreams Dive Co. The classroom session reviews academic content, including tank analysis, enriched air logs, and dive computer settings. No dives are required for certification.
