Recommended for surfers with previous experience, this North Shore Surf Tour offers the chance to enhance your skills while exploring Maui’s local surf breaks. The tour begins with multiple surf checks at favorite spots, then spends 2.5 hours surfing, potentially at more than one location depending on conditions and travel time.
One-on-one instruction helps you feel comfortable in unfamiliar lineups. Beginners receive standard soft top boards, while intermediate to advanced surfers are encouraged to bring their own equipment. Board rentals are available through a local surf shop at discounted rates.
During the tour, you may observe native marine life such as green sea turtles, humpback whales (in winter), spinner dolphins (in summer), reef fish, and manta rays.
