The Ohana Surf Lesson is a private group surf lesson designed for families and friends to share the joy of surfing together. This popular experience combines personalized coaching with a safe and fun environment, making it ideal for groups of all skill levels.

Personalized Instruction and Equipment

The lesson starts with a tailored land session covering paddling, stance, ocean safety, wave selection, and how to pop up on the board. In the water, a 4:1 guest-to-instructor ratio ensures personalized attention as you catch your first waves. All necessary surfing equipment is provided, including surfboards, fins, leash, rash guard, and reef shoes.

Booking Details

This 1.5-hour lesson accommodates up to 12 guests aged 12 and older. The meeting point is Jamie O’Brien Surf Experience Surf Shop at the ground level of Ritz Carlton Oahu Turtle Bay, 57-091 Kamehameha Hwy, Kahuku, HI. Guests can cancel or change their booking up to 48 hours before the lesson, with a 24-hour policy for Ritz Carlton guests.
