Join a group of other students learning how to surf in this 2-hour Open Group Surf Lesson led by professional Red Cross CPR certified instructors with extensive North Shore ocean knowledge. Designed for groups of three or more, the lesson includes detailed instruction on surfing etiquette, wave selection, and respecting the ocean’s delicate ecosystem. The student to instructor ratio is maintained at 3:1 to ensure personalized attention.
The experience begins with a land lesson and safety briefing, followed by ocean reading knowledge and surfing etiquette. Participants then enjoy wave riding, creating fun shared memories. All necessary gear is provided, including rash guards, leashes, and softtop or epoxy surfboards. No previous surfing experience is required.
During the winter and summer seasons, surf locations also serve as excellent snorkel spots where marine life such as green sea turtles, humpback whales, spinner dolphins, indigenous reef fish, and manta rays can be observed.
