Open Group Surf Lesson
Join other surfers in an energetic open group lesson on Oahu’s North Shore, led by experienced CPR-certified instructors. The lesson begins with a 20-minute beach session covering safety, ocean conditions, and surfing basics such as popping up, balance, and wave positioning.
Following the beach lesson, participants enter the water to practice paddling, catching waves, and standing up with instructor guidance. Although a group session, instructors provide individual support to build confidence and improve skills.
Surfboards, rash guards, and other equipment are provided. Meeting locations vary between Puaena Point Beach Park and Chuns Reef Beach depending on surf conditions. Bring a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and water. Reef shoes are optional. Life jackets are available upon request.
