The Open Water Certification in Honolulu is a comprehensive PADI training program designed for aspiring scuba divers. This course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare you for safe and confident diving adventures. The program is divided into four portions, each lasting approximately 3-4 hours.

Course Phases and Schedule

• Phase I: PADI eLearning – Study dive theory at your own pace from home.
• Phase II: Confined Water Sessions – Conducted at Magic Island, these sessions focus on essential scuba skills in a controlled environment. Participants meet at the dive shop in the morning for a review exam and gear preparation.
• Phase III: Open Water Shore Dives 1 & 2 – Practice skills and explore the underwater world during two shore dives following confined water training.
• Phase IV: Open Water Boat Dives 3 & 4 – Complete certification with two boat dives the following day, meeting at Ala Wai Harbor slip #68 at either 8:15 AM or 1:15 PM.
