The Open Water Certification course is designed to teach beginners how to scuba dive safely and confidently over three half-day sessions. This course opens the door to a lifetime of underwater adventures by providing quality instruction in a supportive environment. Maui Dreams Dive Co. maintains low student-to-instructor ratios to ensure personalized attention throughout the course.
Course Schedule and Requirements
The course runs typically over three consecutive mornings from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day. Prior to the first day, students must complete approximately 10-12 hours of digital course materials purchased separately through PADI. On the first day, participants meet at the dive shop for equipment fitting and a knowledge quiz to assess readiness.
