Open Water Course Overview
The Open Water Course is a comprehensive 3-day PADI certification program offered in Kailua-Kona. It includes premium rental gear such as Cressi BCD, Atomic regulators, SUUNTO dive computer, and a 5mm full wetsuit. The course combines eLearning, confined water training, and four open water dives to prepare you for certification.
Course Schedule and Inclusions
- Day 1: Confined water session at the pool from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Day 2: Open water dives 1 and 2 on the boat from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Day 3: Open water dives 3 and 4 on the boat from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
Snacks and water are provided onboard, and mask, snorkel, and fins are available for purchase with a 10% student discount. Transportation is included from Kona Honu Divers in Kailua Kona, HI.
