The Open Water Diver Course Day 1 is your first step toward becoming a certified scuba diver with Kona Shore Divers in Kailua-Kona. This day includes comprehensive scuba gear such as mask, snorkel, fins, booties, wet suit, regulator, BCD, tanks, weights, and de-fog. You will also enjoy snacks and soft drinks as part of the experience.

This 9-hour day covers essential scuba lessons designed to build your foundational skills. Your PADI Open Water Diver Certification earned through this course is recognized worldwide and valid for life. Note that registration and completion of Day 2 are required to finish the course, with Day 3 optional for some students.
