Paddleboard lessons in Kihei are conducted on the calm beaches and waters off Kalama Park. This location provides ideal conditions for learning paddleboarding, featuring calm water and slow-breaking waves with an average year-round water temperature of 78°F. The lessons last 1.5 hours and include all necessary equipment.

Class Schedule and Instructors

Classes run twice daily at 8:00 am and 10:00 am, taking advantage of the early morning calm before tradewinds. All instructors are CPR and First Aid certified to ensure a safe learning experience.

Wildlife and Experience

Participants may encounter Hawaiian green sea turtles during lessons, adding a unique wildlife experience to the activity. Reservations are required in advance, and lessons are not available on Sundays or public holidays.

Booking and Additional Information

The minimum age for mixed-adult group lessons is 12 years; younger children should opt for private or semi-private lessons. Families enjoy semi-private lessons together. Photo packages are available separately through a professional photographer. Gratuity is not included.
