The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is designed to build your confidence and expand your scuba diving abilities through a series of five adventure dives. Offered in Koloa by Dive Kauai, this course includes three shore dives and two boat dives, providing a comprehensive experience under the supervision of a PADI instructor.

Course Structure and Dive Options

This two-day course features two required core dives: a Navigation Dive and a Deep Dive. Additionally, you will complete three elective dives, including Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat Diver, and Dive Against Debris, which also grants a specialty certification. Elective dive options can be customized with choices such as AWARE Fish Identification or Underwater Naturalist at no extra charge.

What’s Included and Group Size

All dives with Dive Kauai include small, personalized groups of four divers or fewer per instructor. Before each dive, detailed site and marine biology briefings are provided. Participants enjoy delicious snacks and cold beverages, and there is no additional charge for any equipment.

Pricing and Upgrades

The base price for the PADI Advanced Open Water/Dive Against Debris Certification eLearning course is $629. Special packages are available that combine additional certifications such as Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty or DPV (Scooter) Specialty for $830. Upgrade dive options are also offered for elective dives.
