The PADI Deep Diver Specialty course in Kailua-Kona is a 2-day certification designed for divers eager to explore depths up to 130 feet (40 meters). This course includes 4 deep dives aboard a 46ft custom dive boat, focusing on deep diving protocols and safety.
Course Breakdown and Training Focus
On Day 1, you complete two deep dives emphasizing protocols and simulated decompression stops. Day 2 includes two additional deep dives with instructor guidance and practice using hang tanks. Prior completion of the required eLearning is necessary before the course.
Additional Information
Transportation to dive sites is provided. Personal scuba equipment can be rented or purchased. The course is available to divers aged 18 and older and takes place at 74-5583 Luhia Street, Kailua-Kona. Cancellation up to 7 days in advance is allowed for a full refund.
